Dear Bob Liebert,
I have lymphedema of my lower extremities. I have had it since I was
12-years-old. I am now 45. It has become progressively worse over the
years. So much so, that I don't know the last time I've seen the bones
in my ankles. What can I do to treat this problem? I would love to wear
a dress again!

Dear Friend,
For lymphedema the herbs that are traditionally used are lymph movers
(see LYMPHAID Formula) and
herbs that strengthen and help circulation of the veins (see HEMMORAID/VENOUS
Formula). Externally, compresses of White Oak inner bark are
used. A strong tea is made (simmer the bark) and applied warm with a
cloth dipped in tea and wrapped on area, repeat as compress cools. The
liquid extract of WHITE OAK
can also be applied to an area and then covered with a cloth wet with
hot water.
Yours in healing,
Bob Liebert, herbalist
