Part Used: Herb.
A mild herb for calming restless children; for childhood nausea, colic, fevers. To calm in teething, can also rub a little on gum. Hyperactivity. . Adults: digestive upsets with stress: nervous indigestion, nausea, gas, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Premenstrual (PMS) agitation, anxiety. Delayed menses with cramps.
Dosage: 1/2 to 1 dropperful (20 to 40 drops) - in a swallow of water, 2 to 4 x a day. See children's dosages in the "Extract FAQ" above. More frequent doses given for children's acute problems, such as every 15 minutes to 1 hour until calmed.
Contraindications: Pregnancy. With presription sedatives. Do not take at same time as Echinacea.
