Part Used: Fruit.
A pure stimulant; particularly suited for those with cold constitution and deficient secretions. Poor circulation. Heart and circulatory stimulant. Atherosclerosis. Poor digestion with deficient secretions. Atonic constipation. Suppressed fever. Shock with cold and clamminess. Onset of cold and flu. Sore throat, tonsilitis. Rheumatic conditions. Pain reliever (externally).
Dosage: 5 to 20 drops in a swallow of water, 2 to 3 x a day
Contraindications: Breast-feeding. Any acute inflammation. Heat conditions. IBS. With blood thinner's.
