Damiana is a plant from Mexico that has been used for sexual, urinary tract and hormonal imbalances. Loss of sexual interest, particularly with genitourinary symptoms and depression. Vaginal discharge and spermatorrhea, nocturnal emisssions. Chronic urinary tract infection. Believed to balance hormonal excesses through balancing the pituitary gland, similar to Chaste Berry. PMS, menopausal symptoms. For weakness, depression, debility, nervous exhaustion in general. Not so much for "hyper" types as for those with "depressed" nervous function.
Dosage: 1/2 to 1 dropperful (20 to 40 drops) in a swallow of water 2 to 3 x a day
Contraindications: Pregnancy.
