American Ginseng is less stimulating than it's Asian cousins, and is often better tolerated for longer periods by those who need less stimulation. Used for nervous exhaustion, weakness, depression, recovery from illness, exhausted adrenal glands. Builds immune system reserves and helps the body in dealing with stress. Sexual tonic for males: low libido, stamina, low sperm count. Radiation exposure. Weak lungs with unpoductive cough.. Poor appetite, chronic indigestion. Poor assimilation, malnutrition. Improve cerebral circulation, improve memory. A good tonic for the elderly. Some women benefit from its hormonal effects in hot flashes and other menopausal problems.
Our extract is made with woods-grown rather than wild ginseng, which is endangered in the wild.
Dosage: 1/2 to 1 dropperful (20 to 40 drops) in a swallow of water 2 to 3 x a day.
Contraindications: Though not as stimulating as its Asian cousin, use with caution in conditions with over-stimulation; hypertension. Do not use with blood thinners.
