Gotu Kola

Gotu Kola is known as an adaptogen, used to increase over-all stamina and energy. Used as an aid for mental clarity and memory, and as a nerve restorative. ADD. Depression. A venous (vein) tonic: varicose veins, phlebitis.
An adaptogen for the immune and endocrine systems: Adrenal restorative, pituitary imbalances, low TSH (thyroid hormone).
Gotu Kola is used as a blood purifier in the East, and is used in a number of chronic skin diseases with breakdown of tissue and low vitality: skin ulcers, psoriasis scleroderma, pemphigus, lupus, cellulitis.
Dosage: 1/2 to 1 dropperful (20 to 40 drops) in a swallow of water 2 to 3 x a day.
Contraindications: Pregnancy, Epilepsy, has blood-thinning properties.
