Not used for long periods on its own; often part of formulas. Sage is used for it’s nerve tonic, immune stimulating and astringent properties. Mental fatigue, cerebral insufficiency, chronic debility, nervous exhaustion. Recovery from stroke. Head cold, sinus congestion, sore throat and mouth sores/infections (internally and locally). Delayed and painful menstruation. Vaginal discharge. Digestive disorders with stress, nervousness. Cough with congestion. Excessive sweating. Menopausal night seats. Drying up breast milk (internally and externally). Used externally on many types of wounds and skin irritations.
Dosage: 1/2 to 1 dropperful (20 to 40 drops) in a swallow of water, 2 to 3 x a day
