Traditionally used as a yin tonic: moistening and lubricating. Dryness/burning of the digestive tract. Ulcers, gastritis. Constipation with dryness. Appetite loss; emaciation. Thirst, dehydration. Parched mouth. Spontaneous sweating. Internally and externally for poping joints, strained tendons. Externally for tendon and for healing of bones.
Dosage: 1/4 to 1/2 droppersful (10 to 20 drops) in a swallow of water 2 to 3 x a day
Contraindications: Yin excess. Fluid or mucous congestion. Bradycardia.
