The mucilaginous, cooling, moistening and healing properties of Marshmallow were used for many types of internal and external irritations. Has an affinity to irritations of the urinary tract in all types of bladder and kidney conditions, where irritation is a main symptom. Sore throat. Dry cough and lung inflammation. Pleurisy and pneumonia. Intestinal dryness with constipation. Stomach hyperacidity/ulcers. Gastric reflux. Used externally on many types of rash, boils, leg ulcers, etc.
Dosage: 1/2 to 1 dropperful 2 to 4 x a day in a swallow of water.
Contraindications: With mucous congestion.
